Функ Д.А. Обсуждение перспектив развития кафедры этнологии МГУ

Аннотация: В обзоре представлены результаты работы круглого стола, состоявшегося 16 декабря 2013 г. в МГУ, на котором обсуждались перспективы развития кафедры этнологии исторического факультета МГУ. К работе на круглом столе были приглашены руководители ведущих антропологических (в широком понимании этого термина) школ Москвы, профессорский состав кафедры, зарубежные коллеги. Были рассмотрены проблемы развития научной и образовательной составляющих работы кафедры и предложен целый ряд мер по их оптимальному решению. При обсуждении означенных проблем участники круглого стола, в зависимости от научной парадигмы, в которой проходило их формирование как исследователей, обращались к опыту исторических, этнологических, физико-антропологических исследований, а также собственно к социально-антропологической исследовательской и образовательной парадигме. Представленные материалы, отражающие многообразие имеющихся в стране подходов к пониманию и развитию дисциплины "этнология", будут полезны не только собственно сотрудникам и учащимся кафедры этнологии МГУ, но, несомненно, вызовут интерес у более широкого круга читателей, всех, кому небезразлично положение в отечественных гуманитарных дисциплинах.

Abstract: The review presents the results of a round-table discussion held the 16th of December 2013 at Lomonosov Moscow State University, dedicated to the question of the future development of the university’s Department of Ethnology at the Faculty of History. Directors of various leading anthropological institutes of Moscow, the professorial staff of the department, and foreign colleagues were invited to partake in this discussion. The group successfully addressed and put forward a number of measures to optimize the resolution of the problems of developing the scientific and educational constituents of the department's activities. Members of the round table, according to the academic background of their own scientific formation, discussed the experiences of historical, ethnological, physico-anthropological studies, and the socio-anthropological and educational paradigm overall. The article’s material reflects the country’s multifaceted approaches to understanding and developing the discipline of “Ethnology” and will be of use not only to the faculty members and students of the MSU Department of Ethnology, but will certainly arise the interest of the general reader, interested in the state of Russian humanities.
